Product details

This is 100 feet of 2 inch central vacuum pipe, divided into twenty 5-foot sections. It is the rigid tubing that carries debris from every wall inlet in a central vacuum system to the power unit. A 100-foot bundle typically covers a whole-home layout of trunk and branch runs in one order, or restocks a service van across several smaller repair jobs.

Breaking the footage into 5-foot lengths rather than shipping one continuous run makes the pipe far easier to move: a full-length piece is awkward through a doorway or up a stairwell, while a 5-foot section clears most vehicles and threads through joists and wall cavities without much trouble. Sections join at standard couplings and get trimmed to length wherever a run meets a fitting or an inlet backing plate.

  • Diameter: 2 inch
  • Total length: 100 feet
  • Section length: 5 feet each

Before ordering, measure the planned run including the vertical drops between floors, since elbows and wye fittings consume more linear pipe than the straight-line distance between an inlet and the power unit would suggest.
