This 35-foot hose is built for dual-voltage central vacuum setups, meaning it feeds line power out to a floor nozzle while the system's motor pulls suction through the same run. Its 1-3/8-inch cuff seats into the inlet valves used on most central vacuum systems, finished in a light gray jacket (part 30036).

Dual-voltage hoses carry their power through a pigtail cord instead of the thin control wire a button-lock hose uses: a short lead near the wall end has to reach an ordinary outlet so it can feed the handle switch and drive the nozzle. Practically, that means the inlet you're using needs a nearby working receptacle, not just an open port to plug the cuff into. Thirty-five feet of length coils easily for storage and works through tight stairwell turns, and the reinforced jacket shrugs off getting pinned under a closed door or a dragged piece of furniture without collapsing the air path. If the power nozzle stops running while suction still pulls, check the pigtail plug and the outlet it's seated in before assuming the hose has failed, since a loose or dead outlet produces the same symptom as a broken wire inside the hose.
