    Sized to the older 1-1/4-inch hose standard rather than the wider 1-3/8-inch format, this 50-foot crushproof hose fits systems and canister vacuums built around the smaller diameter. It is light gray with a friction-fit curved end (part 30302F).

    1-1/4-inch hose was the standard on many older central vacuum installs and remains common on canister and portable vacuums today, so before ordering a 1-3/8-inch hose to replace a worn one it is worth confirming which size your system actually uses rather than assuming the newer, wider size is a drop-in fit. At 50 feet this hose reaches across large rooms and multiple floors from one inlet, and the crushproof corrugated wall keeps the air channel open even after being stepped on repeatedly.

    The friction-fit end pushes onto a compatible 1-1/4 inch wand without a locking button, which speeds up tool changes but depends on a snug fit rather than a mechanical catch.
