Covering runs up to 50 feet, this knit sock is the longest of the plain tie-end covers in this line, built for larger homes where a hose has to stretch across multiple rooms or floors from a single inlet. It is a stretchy grey knit that closes with tie ends (part 30608).
The longer a bare hose runs, the more contact points it has with baseboards, door frames and stair rails as it gets dragged from room to room, and each of those contacts is a chance to scuff paint or dent trim. The knit fabric absorbs that contact and flexes with the hose as it coils, rather than fighting the hose's natural bend. Tie ends at both ends keep the sock seated rather than sliding down toward the handle over repeated use.
