This pipe link gasket adapter is a direct-fit sealing fitting for central vacuum tubing, closing the joint where two sections of pipe meet. It installs at a pipe junction with no modification, giving the connection an airtight seal instead of a loose butt joint that can bleed air.
Any leak in a central vacuum's in-wall tubing steals suction from the inlet in use, and pipe junctions are a common place for that loss to develop. A fresh gasket seals the link so the full pull carries through to the wall inlet and the hose.
