This genuine Air-Way suction control dial in gray (Part #700185303) is the turn knob you use to adjust airflow on the AW8600 upright vacuum. Rotating the dial opens or closes the bleed valve behind it, letting you reduce suction for drapes, upholstery, and lightweight rugs, or open it fully for deep carpet cleaning.
