This genuine Air-Way wand retainer assembly in black (Part #570073401) is the clip-and-bracket mechanism that locks the extension wand to the body of your Air-Way upright vacuum. It holds the wand securely in its stored position when you're vacuuming floors, then releases it cleanly when you need to reach above-floor surfaces, stairs, and corners.
A worn or broken retainer lets the wand wobble, fall out, or refuse to seat properly. Swapping in a new assembly restores a positive, snap-in hold.
