A single clip is all that holds the end of a tensioned AIRBELT band in place, and 6048GS is that clip in gray black. SEBO shows it at position 31 on the AIRBELT K diagram, anchoring the fabric collar to the canister so the band stays stretched flat rather than bunching at one end.
Clips are the first casualty when the band gets pulled hard. One broken anchor is enough for the textile to lift away from the body, so replacing the clip on its own is often a five-minute job that saves an otherwise good band. If the fabric has gone as well, new clips arrive with every AIRBELT textile: 6047AM01, 6047AM07 and 6047AM12 are all packed with 6048GS and 8034GS.

Because it is shared right across those canisters, this is the anchor to order whether the machine is a K2 Kombi or a C3.1 — the fabric pattern changes between models, the clip does not. Do not confuse it with the casing clip that closes the shell seam, which is a different item sold as 6086HG singly or 6086ER in threes.
SEBO draws its exploded views by canister family, so the AIRBELT K sheet is where this clip is illustrated even though the C1.1, C2.1 and C3.1 use it too. Ordering by the number rather than by the drawing avoids the confusion: 6048GS is the same gray black anchor on every one of those machines.
