The oval motif in black and silver is what separates 8221AM07 from the rest of the AIRBELT textiles, and it is the covering SEBO supplies for the AIRBELT E3 Premium in that finish. Pattern is the whole decision here, because this canister was sold wearing more than one AIRBELT, so the replacement has to be picked against the machine in front of you rather than against the model name alone.
What the textile does is take the daily contact. It is the skin over the padded band around the nose of the canister, and it meets table legs, skirting boards and door architraves every time the machine is towed into another room. The weave opens along the leading edge first and then at the corners, and once it has split the band underneath begins collecting the damage instead. A fresh one restores an unbroken, cushioned face across the most visible surface on the canister.
A word of caution about ordering from the drawing. SEBO's AIRBELT E sheet does carry an AIRBELT textile at item 26, but the number set against that line is 8221AM10, the striped one. The ovals have no line of their own on the sheet, so quoting item 26 will bring the wrong pattern. Go by part number instead: ovals are 8221AM07, the stripe is 8221AM10, and unpatterned gray black is 8221AM01 — a number SEBO lists for the AIRBELT E3 Premium as well as for its two stablemates.
