We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. White-winged and sold one at a time, this carbon brush mechanism, part 33423-12, serves a wide span of Ametek Lamb motors. The brush rides on the commutator and feeds current into the armature, and as it wears down that contact goes intermittent and the motor loses its edge.
The pattern is familiar to anyone who has serviced a Lamb motor: reduced suction, a motor that hesitates on start-up, visible sparking through the vents, and a sharp burning smell after a long run. None of that means the motor is finished. It usually means the brushes are.
It fits Ametek Lamb motor 119678 and its 119678-0 and 119678-00 variants, the 117123 family including 117123-00, -07, -13, -29 and -35, the 117944-00 and the 119709-00. Fit them in pairs so both sides seat evenly against the commutator.
