This OEM Ametek Lamb cooling fan (Part #116336-02) fits all current 5.7-inch bypass motor models from Ametek Lamb. The fan mounts on the motor shaft and moves cooling air across the windings while the motor runs.
A cracked, chipped, or unbalanced cooling fan lets the motor run hot and can bring on vibration or unusual noise, both of which shorten motor life. Fitting a correct replacement fan restores proper cooling and quiet, balanced operation.
