Part FMCY052105 is Trovac's assembled 605-airwatt tangential bypass motor, supplied with a 4.5 in aluminum exhaust tube already fitted for units that route their exhaust further from the motor deck than the shorter-tube version of this build.
The tangential bypass fan draws its own cooling air in on a separate path from the suction stream, keeping debris out of the motor while it works. Getting the exhaust tube length right is the detail that decides whether a replacement motor seats against your unit's housing outlet, so it is worth checking closely against the original before you buy.
