This hose assembly (part #10-1124-07) is a replacement attachment hose for the Dyson DC40, DC41, and DC65 uprights and their UP-series equivalents. It carries suction from the machine to the wand and tools for above-floor cleaning.
A hose that has cracked or become blocked bleeds off suction, and stairs, upholstery, and corners no longer clean well. Damage often appears at the cuffs where the hose bends. A new hose reseals the airway and returns full suction to the tools.
