The Beam CV199 / Dust Care DCC-4 Circuit Board is a replacement control board for Beam central vacuum power units, fitting Beam model 0005. The board manages the electrical connection that tells the central vacuum when to run, so a failing one commonly shows up as intermittent operation or a unit that will not turn on at all.
Central vacuum systems are built to serve a home for a very long time, and the electronics are among the few components that age regardless of how heavily the system is used. Replacing a faulty board is a contained, practical repair that leaves the motor, canister, and in-wall piping untouched.
