The genuine SEBO Bearing Block, left hand, for the DUO is a light gray replacement that seats the left end of the brush roll on the SEBO Duo. It gives the roll a smooth, low-friction bearing surface to turn against during cleaning.
Constant spinning eventually wears a bearing block, and a failing left-hand block announces itself with grinding, a wobble, or a brush roll that binds. That added drag pulls on the motor and scuffs the roll unevenly. Dropping in a fresh SEBO bearing block quiets the noise and returns free, even rotation.
