This brush micro switch is the small contact switch that controls the brush roll on the Bissell 86T3 (Part #203-6759). A micro switch makes or breaks a circuit with very little movement, and on this machine it senses brush-related activation to power or interrupt the brush roll motor as designed.
When this micro switch fails, the brush roll may not spin, may run when it shouldn't, or may behave intermittently. Replacing the worn switch restores correct, reliable brush operation so the agitator engages exactly when it should.
