Bissell's Little Green spot cleaner sprays from a removable clean tank, part 164-2986, that carries the water-and-cleaning-formula blend down to the trigger sprayer so you can work pet messes, stains, and spills on the go.
Because this tank comes on and off the machine at every refill, the most common failure points are the threaded cap, which can strip or stop biting down evenly, and the tank body itself, which can crack at a corner or split along a seam after being knocked around in a trunk or closet. A tank that no longer seals loses pressure and stops feeding solution to the sprayer at full strength. A tank that only drips once it is full, but seems fine half empty, typically has a stressed seam rather than a cap problem.
