Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the small in-line filter fitted to the siphon tube on Bissell extraction carpet cleaners. Bissell catalogues it as the filter for the siphon tube, part 555-9036, and it screens the liquid drawn through that tube so grit does not carry on into the rest of the solution path.

A screen that has clogged or torn is worth ruling out early when an extractor stops performing the way it did, because the part is inexpensive, sits near the start of the path, and takes seconds to inspect once the tube is off. Held up to the light, a screen that has gone opaque with fine grit is doing less filtering and more restricting.
