Returns & Exchanges

This is the filter for the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser cordless hand vacuum, part 1608653, fitting the 1782 and 17823. On these machines it sits in the separator assembly behind the dirt cup, and it is listed alongside part 1608654, which covers that separator.

A handheld has very little motor to spare, so filter loading hits it harder than it would a full-size upright. Pet hair and fine dander pack the media quickly, and once it is loaded run time drops, pickup goes soft, and the vacuum sounds like it is straining on a freshly charged battery.

Tap it out every few uses and change it when the media stays grey after cleaning. Keeping a spare means the vacuum is never out of action waiting for one to dry.
