This genuine Bissell handle assembly is the upper steering grip for PowerForce and TurboClean carpet cleaners. It's the section you hold and tilt to guide the machine, and it carries the control routing down into the cleaner body (Part #164-2206).
A handle that has cracked at the joint, gone loose, or snapped near the trigger makes the cleaner frustrating to push and pull. Dropping in a new handle assembly brings back a firm, rigid connection so the machine tracks straight and responds to your steering on every pass.
