This genuine Bissell ProHeat handle assembly is the upper grip and control section you hold and steer the machine with during cleaning. It carries the wiring and trigger linkage to the rest of the unit, so a cracked or broken handle can make the cleaner awkward to maneuver or affect the controls mounted on it.
This handle assembly (Part #214-4406) is the OEM replacement for Bissell ProHeat upright models in the 8910, 7901, 7920, 1799, and 1699 series. It fits as a direct swap for the original handle.
