Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This genuine Bissell tank float is a buoyant safety component that rides inside the dirty-water recovery tank of Bissell carpet cleaners and wet vacuums (Part #214-0325). As recovered water rises, the float lifts and shuts off suction airflow once the tank reaches capacity, protecting the motor from water ingress and preventing overflow.

A missing, cracked, or stuck float can let the recovery tank overfill or allow water to reach the motor, risking damage. Installing a correct replacement float restores the automatic shut-off function and keeps the machine operating safely.
