Bissell Water Tank - With C...

Product details

This is the water tank for the Bissell 1940 PowerFresh steam mop, part 2038412, and it ships complete with its cap and insert rather than as a bare tank. It is the reservoir the boiler draws from, so anything wrong with it shows up as a mop that stops making steam.

Tanks live a hard life. They are filled, twisted, dropped and heated. A hairline crack in the body or a seal that has hardened will drip water down the back of the mop, leave a wet trail on the floor, and starve the heater so steam output falls away mid-job. Mineral scale around the neck makes the cap seal worse as time goes on.

It fits the Bissell 1940 series PowerFresh steam mop. The 1940 family covers several variants, so check the model number on the rating label before ordering.
