This 8 pack of ProTeam ProForce Bottom Plate Screws, sized 4mm x 35mm, secures the bottom plate on ProTeam ProForce upright vacuums, including the ProForce 1500, 1500XP, 1500XP HEPA, 1200XP, 1200XP HEPA, the 1500XP New Style, and the ProCare 15XP.
The bottom plate does more than cover the brush roll. It completes the sealed air path at the nozzle, and when its screws strip, corrode, or go missing, the plate loosens and air leaks in around the edges. That leakage reduces suction at the floor, which is often blamed on the bag or motor when the real culprit is a handful of missing fasteners.
Replace screws whenever they no longer bite firmly, and check the full set any time the plate comes off for brush roll service. Keeping all eight screws tight preserves the airtight seal that maximum cleaning performance depends on.
