The SEBO Brush Cover Release (dark blue) is a genuine replacement for the Automatic X5. This latch holds the brush roller cover closed on the underside of the power head and lets you open it for routine roller cleaning.
The catch is flexed every time you service the brush, so a cracked release or a weak spring tab will let the cover work loose or fail to close flat. An open or ill-fitting cover exposes the roller and lets debris slip past instead of feeding into the airflow. A new release restores a clean, positive latch.
