This replacement Oreck brush roll seal and eyelet assembly fits the Oreck XL8300 and 100C upright. The seal and eyelet mount at the ends of the brush roll, holding the roller in position and keeping debris out of the bearing area.
As the seal hardens and the eyelet wears, the brush roll can shift, letting hair wrap the shaft and grit reach the bearing. The result is added noise, belt drag, and uneven agitation. A fresh seal and eyelet return the roller to a true, quiet spin.
