Carpet Pro Buckle - Harness...

Product details

Part B352-6700B replaces the buckle on the harness strap of the Carpet Pro SCBP1 and of the Eureka SC412 backpack vacuum, one small fitting that either machine depends on to keep its harness cinched. A single cracked buckle can sideline a machine entirely, yet swapping only the buckle runs a small fraction of what a full harness replacement would cost.

Buckles fail at one of two spots: the release tab, worn from being pinched open hundreds of times, or the webbing channel that the strap threads through, stressed by the constant tension of a loaded harness. The tell is a strap that loosens no matter how tightly it was set. Cinch it down at the start of a shift, and by the ten or fifteen minute mark the machine has crept down the operator's shoulders with the wand sitting at the wrong angle for the work. Some buckles give out completely and leave the operator tying off the webbing just to get through the job, a stopgap that will not hold an adjustment as reliably shift after shift.

A strap buckle like this fits to the existing webbing, so when only the buckle has failed there is usually no need to replace the harness itself. Note how your old buckle is fitted before removing it, and thread the new one the same way. Keeping a spare on the shelf is inexpensive insurance against a machine sitting idle over one broken buckle.

  • Part: B352-6700B
  • Fits: Carpet Pro SCBP1, Eureka SC412 backpack
  • Function: harness strap buckle
  • Failure signs: strap will not stay cinched, cracked release tab, broken webbing slot

Once fitted, the full adjustment range of the harness comes back, and the machine sits and cinches the way it did when the strap was new.
