This genuine SEBO carbon brush set, Brush M by Ametek, fits the 2241UE brush motor used from 2001 onward in the 370 Electronic and the ET-C. The brushes ride on the motor commutator to feed current into the armature.

As carbon brushes wear short, the motor begins to spark, lose power, or cut in and out, and worn brushes can eventually score the commutator. Replacing them as a matched set restores steady contact and protects the motor from further wear.
