Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The plug cover with screws, part X1299, closes the plug opening on the housing of the Carpet Pro SCBP1.2 backpack vacuum. The same cover is also listed for the Eureka SC412B and the Sanitaire SC412B, so one part covers all three machines.

A cover like this earns its keep quietly. It closes an opening in the housing and shields whatever sits behind it from dust and knocks, and on a machine that rides on an operator's back all shift, small covers take far more incidental contact than they would on a canister parked on the floor. A cracked or missing cover leaves that opening exposed, so dust and debris reach parts of the machine the housing was built to keep closed off, and damage there costs far more to put right than the cover itself ever would. It is also an easy failure to overlook, since a small crack in a dark plastic cover is not always visible without a close look.

Housing damage does not tend to improve with time. A hairline crack spreads with handling, so a cover that has started to split is worth replacing before it opens further, particularly on a machine carried on the back where it takes regular knocks against doorframes and furniture.
