Central Vac Pipe Collar, Wh...

Product details
This trim collar covers the rough opening where central vacuum pipe passes through a wall or floor plate, turning a cut hole in drywall or subfloor into a finished, professional-looking pass-through. It slips over standard 2 inch central vacuum tubing and sits flush against the surface.
The wire notch is the detail that separates this collar from a plain pipe escutcheon. Central vacuum installs route a thin low-voltage signal wire alongside the tubing to reach each inlet valve, and without a notch that wire either gets pinched under the collar or left exposed at the wall. The notch gives the wire its own channel so it lies flat and stays protected once the collar is seated.
- Color: White
- Feature: Notched opening for low-voltage signal wire
- Fits: Standard 2 inch central vacuum pipe
- Use: Finish trim at wall and floor pipe penetrations
Fit the collar before final drywall or flooring goes in if you can, since it is far easier to slide over an exposed pipe end than to work it past a finished wall opening after the fact. On a retrofit where the wall is already closed, the collar still works, it just takes more care threading the wire through the notch without disturbing the existing low-voltage connection at the inlet.
These are inexpensive enough that it is worth ordering one for every penetration in a rough-in rather than trimming drywall tight to the pipe and skipping the collar. A tight drywall cut still leaves a visible gap once the wall is painted, and a collar with the wire notch is the cleaner finish either way. Listed under SKU 2031-01.
