The TBMAND15 extension wand adds 18.5 in. of central vacuum reach, with an air-control hole built into the tube for bleeding off suction on the fly. It uses the standard 1-1/4 in. fitting found on most hose handles and tools.
Covering that hole with a fingertip while you work lets you ease off suction for lifting a rug edge that keeps getting pulled up, or for crossing from carpet onto a surface that scratches easily, without walking back to the wall inlet to shut the system down.
