The chassis is the molded base a SEBO 350 Mechanical is built around. The axle, wheels, release pedal and cleaning head all hang off it, so a hairline crack or a broken mounting boss shows up as a machine that leans, rattles, or will not hold its recline. Part 50444HGER is that base in light gray, supplied as the factory component rather than a repaired original.
Damage to a chassis produces a scatter of symptoms that look unrelated until you trace them back. A boss that has snapped lets a panel drum against its neighbour. A frame that has taken a hard drop puts the head slightly out of square, so the belt tracks toward one flange and the bearing blocks load unevenly.
