SEBO Ball Bearing Clamp for...

$6.99

Product details

A ball bearing stays where it belongs only for as long as something holds it there, and on the Duo that job falls to this clamp. Part 3030 is SEBO's retainer for the bearing, marked at position 52 on the machine's parts diagram between the motor pulley at 51, part 3014, and the pulley at 53, part 3013.

A clamp that has splayed, cracked or lost its grip lets the bearing creep in its seat. What follows is play in the shaft, a bearing that runs hot, and eventually damage to the housing that is a far larger job to put right than the retainer itself. The early sign is a fine rocking movement at the shaft end that was not there before, usually noticed when the drive is turned over by hand rather than under power. A clamp that has been off and refitted several times is also worth renewing on principle, since the grip is the whole of what it does and a retainer that has been sprung open once tends not to close down as tightly again.

  • Part number: 3030
  • Diagram position: 52 on the SEBO Duo parts diagram
  • Role: retains the ball bearing in its seat
  • Fits: the SEBO Duo brush machine
  • Sold: individually
  • Related numbers: 0222 ball bearing 626-2Z at 58, 3014 motor pulley at 51, 3013 pulley at 53, 3010HG bearing block RH at 30

SEBO lists the bearing itself as 0222, a 626-2Z, at position 58 of the same drawing. If that bearing is being replaced, fitting a fresh clamp at the same time is sensible insurance and saves opening the drive twice for two small items. Searching for a SEBO Duo bearing clamp, a bearing retainer or part 3030 brings up this same component. Genuine SEBO spare, dispatched by an authorized dealer in 2-5 business days.
