Sold as a single wheel and bushing pair, part C220-0531C is the rear rolling wheel for a Clean Max ZM800 or Titan T500 upright, and the same part carries over to the Simplicity R10P, R10S and Riccar R10P, R10S sold on the same platform. The bushing sits between the axle and the wheel, so the two wear together and are supplied as a single unit rather than sold separately.
A flat spot or a seized bushing first shows up as the machine dragging to one side or rolling unevenly across carpet transitions. On bare floors it gets worse: a flat-spotted wheel skips instead of rolling, and that skipping is what leaves fine marks on hardwood, tile and laminate over repeated passes rather than a single dramatic scratch.
Because both rear wheels see roughly equal mileage, a wheel that has clearly flat-spotted is a fair reason to check its opposite number even if that one still looks fine, since the second wheel is often only a few weeks behind.
