Product details
Clean Obsessed uses this yellow, 10-quart shell as the main housing on its 10-quart backpack vacuum, sold as the CO10 and catalogued by the manufacturer as the CO1024. It is the part the filter bag sits inside and the part the motor, lid, base and shoulder harness all bolt to, so on a backpack machine the housing does double duty as bag compartment and structural frame.
A shell cracked at a seam or mounting point can let the harness flex under stress it was never built to carry, or let the lid seal loosely enough to cost suction and filtration even when the motor and filter are both fine on their own. Fitting a new shell resets the structural base the rest of the machine depends on rather than working around a compromised one.
Confirm the capacity marked on your current housing before ordering. Clean Obsessed builds this backpack in three sizes that share a similar profile, a 4-quart, a 6-quart and this 10-quart, and only the 10-quart shell takes the CO10BG bag. Verify against your machine's part diagram if the marking has worn off.

Check the lid and base for wear where they clamp against the shell before installing a new one, since a fresh shell paired with a worn lid gasket or distorted base will still leak air and cost suction. The harness mounting points carry the machine's full loaded weight on a shoulder strap and are usually where a hairline crack starts first.
