Every central vacuum power unit needs somewhere for the dirt to actually collect, and on a Beam system that is a fabric bag hung inside the canister rather than a rigid cartridge. Part 110347 is that bag in its 11 inch size, woven to let air pass through while trapping the debris carried in from the wall inlets.
Woven fabric loses its ability to breathe over time as fine dust works permanently into the weave, reaching a point where even a wash will not open the fibers back up. The result shows up gradually rather than all at once: pickup at the hose still feels normal, but the far inlets in the house start pulling noticeably weaker, and the power unit itself runs warmer as the motor pushes against a bag that has effectively clogged from the inside out.

Before ordering, measure whichever bag is currently installed, since Beam's canisters were not built around one universal bag size over the years. Match on both diameter and the shape of the mounting collar rather than assuming any Beam cloth bag fits any Beam canister, since a bag that is the right diameter but loose at the collar will still leak air around the seal even though it looks correctly sized once it is hanging in place. Handle a cloth bag by its collar rather than by the fabric itself when installing it, since pulling on the weave can stretch or tear a seam that would otherwise have held up for years.
