This 1-3/4 inch to 2 inch coupling reducer is a central vacuum pipe adapter that joins 1-3/4 inch outside diameter pipe to standard 2 inch outside diameter central vacuum tubing. Installers reach for this fitting when an older or nonstandard pipe run needs to connect to modern central vacuum pipe, whether during a repair, a renovation, or an extension of the existing network.
