This Decovac mounting plate, a white plastic bracket measuring 2 x 4 in., installs behind a central vacuum inlet valve as part of the rough framing.
Fastened into the stud bay ahead of the inlet going in, the bracket gives the valve a rigid surface to screw against and keeps it aligned while the pipe stub and low-voltage leads are joined on the other side.
