Dirt Devil Exhaust Filter -...

Product details

The exhaust filter for the Dirt Devil UR30080 upright, part 1PL8635000. It is the last stage the air passes through on its way out of the machine, which makes it the filter that decides what the room smells like.

Exhaust filters fail quietly. Nobody looks at them, so they run for years, and the media goes from white to gray to a packed felt that air has to fight through. By then the machine has lost airflow across the whole system, the brush roll bogs down in carpet, the motor runs hot, and the dust that used to be trapped is being pushed back out at ankle height.

If the media looks gray or matted, replace it. It seats in the exhaust housing with no tools.
