We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Dirt Devil catalogs this element as the F-16 HEPA filter. It is sold here as part F950, the replacement filter for the UD40310 upright, and it is a drop-in for the filter that came out of the machine.
Once the media has taken on a full load of dust, it passes less air, and the vacuum has to work harder to move the same volume through it. Past that point a saturated HEPA element stops holding onto the finest particles it is meant to trap, and the air leaving the machine can carry a stale, dusty smell even though the motor still sounds like it is running at full power.
