This OEM Dirt Devil nozzle guard assembly (Part #440002936) fits the Dirt Devil UD20100, UD20100BDI, UD20100EDI, and UD20100PDI. The guard serves as the bottom plate over the nozzle, setting brush-roll clearance and directing airflow at the floor.

A cracked or warped bottom plate reduces suction at the nozzle and lets debris slip past instead of being drawn in. Installing the correct OEM guard restores proper clearance and the tight airflow the head needs to pick up dirt.
