The dusting brush for the Readivac Eaze is part RS1000-P006, and like the rest of the Eaze tool set it covers both the RS1000 and the RS1030.
Readivac renumbered the machine to RS1030 in July 2020 and changed only its startup speed, so a part listed for one fits the other. Ordering against the number printed on your unit is safe either way.
Soft bristles ring the mouth of the tool so it can pass over shelves, blinds, lamp shades, picture frames and electronics without scratching a finish the way a stiffer floor brush would. On a stick vacuum used mostly on floors, this is the attachment that makes above-floor cleaning worth doing with the machine at all rather than reaching for a cloth.
Dusting bristles wear quietly. They do not snap the way a floor brush's do, they flatten and lose spring across years of light use, and once that happens the brush drags dust along a surface instead of lifting it clear. Run a hand across the ring: if it gives easily and returns slowly, it has lost most of its lift whatever it looks like from a distance. Check the fit at the wand at the same time, since a brush sitting loose on a worn opening pulls air around the joint rather than through the bristles.
