Product details

Part B380-0514B is the black latch body for the dust compartment cover on PV series uprights. It is the molded piece the catch works against, holding the cover shut so the bag chamber stays closed and sealed while the machine is running.

A cover that springs open mid-clean, or one that no longer pulls tight against its seal, is usually a latch fault rather than a cover fault. Suction loss follows quickly on a direct-air machine, because any gap in the dust compartment is air the fan takes for free instead of pulling it through the carpet.
