Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 12-1200-12 is the pre-motor filter for the Dyson DC19, DC20, DC21 and DC29 canister vacuums. It sits between the cyclone assembly and the motor, trapping fine dust that slips past the cyclones before that air reaches the motor.

On these canister models, a loaded pre-motor filter is one of the most common reasons suction drops off even though the bin has been emptied and nothing is visibly blocking the hose. Because the filter sits right in front of the motor, letting it stay clogged for long periods also means the motor is pulling air through more restriction than it was designed for.
