This replacement end cap fits the Dyson DC24 upright vacuum, sealing and supporting the end of the brush bar inside the cleaner head. The end cap holds the brush bar in alignment and keeps debris and hair from working their way into the bearing area.
End caps crack or pop loose over time, especially after wrestling tangled hair off the brush bar. A damaged cap can let the brush bar wobble or stop the cleaner head from reassembling correctly. Fitting a new cap (Part #12-1500-06) restores a snug, secure brush-bar mount.
