Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The Dyson DC50 upright relies on a small pre-motor filter to keep dust away from the motor. Part #2511 is the direct replacement for that filter, and it is washable rather than disposable.

Suction on the DC50 fades gradually as the filter loads with fine dust, and most people notice it as weaker pickup on carpet before anything else changes. Rinsing or replacing this filter is usually the fastest fix. If suction does not come back once a clean filter is in place, check the hose and the airway from the floor head for a blockage before looking any further into the machine.
