This hood assembly (Part #155266) is the upper housing cover for the Electrolux QuietClean power nozzle. The hood is the top shell of the power head, protecting the internal motor, belt, and brushroll while giving the nozzle its finished outer shape. Over years of use a hood can crack, chip, or break at its mounting tabs, leaving internal components exposed.
Fitting a fresh hood assembly restores the structural cover of the QuietClean power head and renews its appearance. It is the correct service part when the original top housing is damaged but the motor and brushroll remain serviceable.
