This bag holder is a replacement component for the Eureka 6500A canister vacuum. The holder seats the dust bag inside the canister compartment, aligning the bag's collar with the airflow inlet so dirt and debris are captured cleanly and the bag stays securely positioned during use.
A broken or distorted bag holder can let the bag slip, leak dust, or fail to seal against the inlet, reducing filtration and suction. Replacing it with this direct-fit part (Part #1180237-01) restores a proper, leak-free bag seat.
