Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The cord inlet for the Eureka 6975 World-Vac, part 276901, also listed for the Eureka 54999. It is the fitting that anchors the power cord where it enters the housing so the wire is not flexing against bare plastic.

You can usually tell a failed one by feel before you can see it, because the cord moves at the entry point where it used to be held solid. Once the inlet has cracked or lost its grip, the insulation rubs on a hard edge every time the machine is pulled around, and the fault that follows is intermittent: the vacuum drops out mid-room, then runs again when the cord shifts.

That is a repair worth doing promptly rather than living with. Unplug the machine, fit the new inlet in the original opening, and look over the length of cord nearest the body for chafing while you are there.
