This replacement activated carbon filter (Part #64572) is made for the Eureka / Electrolux EL490 and EL491 air cleaners. Unlike a standard dust filter, the carbon layer adsorbs odors, smoke, and common airborne gases, while also helping trap particulate as air passes through the cleaner.
